Maple Lake Safe Streets for All (SS4A) Action Plan Steering Committee
The City of Maple Lake is currently drafting its Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) Action Plan, which aims to enhance the safety of road users (including drivers and pedestrians) by identifying needs and strategies to eliminate traffic-related fatalities and injuries. The plan will serve as a roadmap for implementing effective safety measures and promoting a culture of safe transportation across the city. As part of the SS4A planning process, we are assembling a steering committee/guidance group of local individuals to oversee the document’s development and implementation.
The commitment we are asking for is three meetings with City and Consultant Staff (maximum 2 hours in duration each) to review project materials and provide feedback. Our project timeline anticipates that these meetings will take place in April, July and September. These meetings will be on a weekday, likely after working in the evenings.
