The City of Maple Lake endeavors to deliver all public services in a professional manner and to respond promptly to all citizens inquiries and concerns.

  • Public Works
    Under the coordination of our Public Works Director, the Public Works Department’s role is to provide quality services to our community.  The Public Works Department is responsible for several functions, including Parks, Streets, Airport, and Utilities.  Feel free to contact our Public Works staff with your questions!
  • Fire & Rescue
    The Maple Lake Fire Department is responsible for providing an efficient and effective delivery of fire, medical, rescue, and life safety emergency services for the Maple Lake fire district in Wright County. Emergency services are delivered from the Fire Station located at 106 Division Street West.The Fire and Ambulance Service also strives to improve the quality of life for Maple Lake residents by providing public education, code enforcement, and ongoing training for firefighters.
  • Maple Lake Wine & Spirits Municipal Liquor Store
    Maple Lake Wine & Spirits is managed by the City of Maple Lake; profits from the liquor store directly support public services and projects. The store also serves as a means of control, ensuring that sales are made only to responsible adults.

City of Maple Lake Budget

The City of Maple Lake adopts a Preliminary budget and levy in September. In December the city holds a Truth in Taxation hearing for the public to learn more about the proposed budget. After the Truth in Taxation, the City Council will vote on the proposed final budget.
